Then the students tried calligraphy, learned how to write their first Chinese characters and marveled at the wondrous art of Beijing opera masks. Lecturer Cui Lan presented tea – drinking ceremony, which made students to enjoy the richness of Chinese tea taste and flavors. Students who have musical skills got an opportunity to play with the Chinese traditional string instrument – guzheng. In the end, our visitors were given Confucius institute souvenirs which will remind them about this fun and exciting day. We are thankful for their teacher who beautifully summarized her students’ feedback: “Children enjoyed the educational activities at the institute that was well prepared. We really saw a lot. Children were very impressed with the Chinese calligraphy lesson, tea-drinking ceremony and with the people who work here. Thank you, teacher Laimutė.”
