24-26 April Vilnius University hosted the ATSIbusk'24 events as it does every year. These days are aimed at both students and the general public who want to get to know Asia and the Middle East better. The three days were packed with interesting lectures, exclusive workshops and inspiring activities.

This year our Institute offered three activities. On the second day, we organised a Chinese calligraphy workshop with Dalia Vaičiuškiene, a graduate of the Vilnius Academy of Arts and Vilnius University in Sinology, an expert in art and calligraphy. She introduced the origins of Chinese calligraphy, the main styles of Chinese calligraphy and taught the participants how to write the hieroglyphic "chun" 春,which translates as "spring, vitality, joy".

On the same day, our teacher Wang Cuiqi demonstrated the Chinese tea ceremony 茶道, told us interesting facts about tea and invited us to taste real Chinese tea.

On the last day of the event, Dr Liang Wenming, Master of Wushu 武术 and instructor of Taiji 太极拳 at our Institute, invited everyone to try out the healing practices of healing sounds and the qigong exercise baduanjin 八段锦. Perhaps the most impressive part of the event was the instructor's mastery of the wushu demonstration programme. At the end of the class, Dr Liang was happy to answer questions. We were delighted with the interested faces and the enthusiasm of the participants to try.
